As the nbn® rollout gathers pace, the wait is now over for residents in the surrounding areas of Babinda with 120 premises going live yesterday. A further 812 premises go live at the end of September in Innisfail, Pin Gin Hill and Wangan. Waughs Pocket is set to follow shortly after at the end of October with 181 premises and Mourilyan Harbour with 217 premises in the fourth quarter 2015.
Even though nbn has recently announced the need for an additional $25.6 billion to assist with the ongoing rollout of the nbn® network, the news could not be better for residents in the regional towns and surrounding areas in the Innisfail region who can soon connect to the nbn®.
