Great News For Residents in Toowoomba QLD As High Speed nbn® Broadband Is Almost Here On The Way
January 20, 2016 1:45 amToowoomba QLD — As the nbn® rollout gathers pace in Queensland, the wait is over for around 3,900 residents in Centenary Heights, Darling Heights, Rangeville and parts of Kearneys Spring who will be able to connect to nbn® Fibre direct to the premise by end of January 2016. Fibre To The Premise (FTTP) connections are the fastest service available on the nbn network.
To access nbn® Fibre To The Premise (FTTP), an external utility box is installed on the exterior of the premise as well as internal installation of a nbn® modem offering speeds up to 100/40 megabits per second. Standard installation of equipment is at no cost to the resident.
Activ8me CEO, Tony Bundrock has witnessed the increasing demand for nbn®fibre phone and internet services in previously underserviced regional areas.
“nbn® Fibre To The Premise (FTTP) will mean significantly faster access to online content, fast connectivity, multiple devices connected at the same time and unlimited bandwidth packages across these new coverage areas. Activ8me’s nbn® Fibre broadband service is YouTube HD verified for streaming and recognised as one of the fastest ISPs by PC Mag Australia,” Tony Bundrock said.

Residents need to contact their preferred nbn Retail Service Provider in order to connect to the nbn®. Through Activ8me residents can connect for as little as $39.95 per month and they have recently launched an unlimited data plan from $59.95.
Activ8me customer, Elizabeth Hughes, discovered Activ8me’s nbn® Fibre when moving into a townhouse as the first tenant, within a new complex. Receiving punctual installation Elizabeth signed up on no lock-in contract and the 25/5 megabits per second speed tier.
“The price was right, the size of the plan suited me and the no locked-contract was perfect as I didn’t know how long I would be renting there for. Over three years later, I haven’t had any issues with connectivity or speed and no price increases,” Elizabeth Hughes said.
“I refused to join the big name providers and it proves you don’t need to use the big providers to get good service,” Elizabeth added.
Activ8me has a strong history in providing telecommunications services to regional Australia and understands the essential reliance they have to reliable and robust service.
“We are committed to helping accelerate and enable the benefits of high speed broadband connectivity for rural and regional communities and businesses. Fast broadband is critical to the success of regional businesses, education, medical providers and providing the glue that fosters a connected and productive regional community,” Tony Bundrock said.
