Activ8me helps make high speed nbn^® wireless broadband available for residents of Innisfail

As the nbn^® rollout gathers pace, the wait is now over for residents in the surrounding areas of Babinda with 120 premises going live yesterday. A further 812 premises go live at the end of September in Innisfail, Pin Gin Hill and Wangan. Waughs Pocket is set to follow shortly after at the end of October with 181 premises and Mourilyan Harbour with 217 premises in the fourth quarter 2015.
Even though nbn has recently announced the need for an additional $25.6 billion to assist with the ongoing rollout of the nbn^® network, the news could not be better for residents in the regional towns and surrounding areas in the Innisfail region who can soon connect to the nbn^®.
Activ8me CEO, Tony Bundrock is witnessing increased demand for fixed wireless in previously underserviced regional areas.
“Areas that have suffered from satellite latency issues and poor ADSL connections now have a robust faster alternative with nbn fixed wireless solutions. To access nbn^® Fixed Wireless, a small antenna is installed on the premises to pick up the signal from a fixed wireless tower. The current  nbn^® Fixed Wireless service, which operates via radio signals instead of cable infrastructure, offers speeds up to 25/5Mbps.
