Virtual Private Network

Our managed VPN allows private network connection from your remote office (via satellite link) to head office (connected to terrestrial network, e.g. ADSL, DSL). The managed VPN service delivers accelerated satellite throughput between the remote office and headquarter via the tunnels.

The GRE tunnel establishes a private network between your remote office network to the Activ8me Corporate VPN gateway router. This tunnel remains within the internal Activ8me Corporate network.

Activ8me Corporate’s VPN Gateway Router establishes a secure IPSEC tunnel to your head office. The Gateway Router encrypts all data originating from your GRE and transmits the encrypted data via the IPSEC tunnel.

This solution delivers full throughput over the satellite segment, without the degradation that occurs with other systems that employ IPSEC over satellite.
