Activ8me IPSTAR Satellite Plans
These plans are available to existing Activ8me customers who were connected before June 30, 2011 (IPSTAR modem) or persons wanting to transfer to Activ8me. For current broadband plans for new NBN satellite connections please visit the Satellite Broadband (NBN) page.
Activ8me has a great range of plans to choose from. We Offer two plan types - 'excess plans' and 'shaped plans'
- Excess plans - Our excess plans mean that your service will never be slowed (shaped) once your monthly data allowance is reached. You will be charged for excess usage at $0.05 per MB.
- Shaped plans – Our shaped plans have the benefit of no nasty bill surprises at the end of the month. If you reach your monthly usage quota, your service will be slowed to 64kbps so all you pay is the flat monthly fee.
Customers connected before June 30, 2011 may change to one of the plans below by logging in to "My Account" and clicking on Account Info > Satellite Broadband and then selecting 'Change Plan' from the side menu.

Downloads and uploads count towards data usage.
- When monthly quota is met internet speed will slow to 64kbps on shaped plans. Excess plans are charged at $0.05 per MB of excess usage over your monthly data allowance.
- Peak data time is 12 noon – 11pm. Off-peak is 11pm - 12 noon (AEST/AEDT) unless time zone billing changed to your Local Time Zone via the members area.
