All IPSTAR products have been carefully designed to be fully compliant with IPSTAR system specifications-offering low cost hardware, and ease of installation and use. Designed with SME and consumer markets in mind, the iCON modem caters for a full range of bandwidth-demanding data and voice applications, such as high-speed internet, VoIP and media streaming.
The IPSTAR equipment for new installations consists of the following:
Indoor Unit
High performance IPSTAR Satellite Modem:

Outdoor Unit
All IPSTAR satellite terminals work in conjunction with IPSTAR certified satellite antenna systems-specially designed and optimised to meet IPSTAR specifications.
The IPSTAR satellite antenna system consists of:
- Ku-Band satellite dish - Diameter 0.84m, 1.2 m, 1.8m
- Feed assembly
- Block-up converter (from 0.25 to 2 Watts)
- Low Noise BUC (LNB)
