Phoning home for a chat isn’t that simple for those who live in remote areas and islands around Australia.
That record is set to be drastically improved with the rollout of more than 192 community phones – communicating by satellite and powered by the sun.
The community phones are installed by Activ8me under the Australian Government’s Indigenous Communications Program (ICP).
